I will say, i think the background for this piece is awesome. It very much reminds me of a photograph from one of my Geography text books i use in college (From when i studied the river Nile
I think the description adds alot to this piece. Describing it as a situation i just find very appealing. This picture has so many things that could be said about it. A man contemplating life is just one of them. He looks so thoughtful and distant in his thoughts from the physical world. I can't help but wonder what was going through his mind when you took this.
